Scale A Y3–4 teacher

We are seeking an empowering and innovative teacher for the Y3–4 area of our school, who will place our tamariki at the heart of all decision making. We strive to ensure that every child learns every day, that we honour wellbeing as the heartbeat of our school, and form connections that make a difference for our people. 

Our Y3–4 class programme will suit a teacher that understands the power of learners mindsets, the challenges of being in the learning pit, the social and emotional needs of this age group, and is experienced or curious about project-based learning. We are looking for the right person to help grow our learners, someone that is interested in growing themselves and who is a team player.

You will be an effective communicator with a collaborative approach: 

• Pursue excellence in achievement, both within the classroom and outside
• Have excellent knowledge of the curriculum and keep up-to-date with educational research while focusing on the priorities of our school and community
• Be an effective listener and communicator.
