We are looking for an outstanding teacher to play a key role in leading geography and/or junior social studies.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant difference to the educational outcomes of our students. Applicants should be able to teach up to Scholarship level, be eligible for New Zealand registration and endorse the college’s academic priority. The successful applicant will also be expected to be involved in our extensive co-curricular programme.
Our college is a Y9–13 school in Auckland serving a largely Pacific Island and Māori population. Our students’ families are in many cases first or second-generation New Zealanders who moved here for a better life and opportunities for their children, and this is reflected in the family aspirations.
As a school, we are committed to increasing the number of students who go on to degree-level study and we are currently looking for excellent classroom practitioners who can continue, and build on, our students’ successes.
