Hospitality teacher - leadership of creative cook programme

We are a thriving secondary college in the centre of Christchurch city. As we move forward with curriculum review and the redevelopment of our school, we are looking for an hospitality teacher with leadership in our creative cook programme who brings an integrated approach to the teaching of this subject.

Hospitality teacher who is a current registered, certificated teacher, a trained chef would be an advantage – familiar with the NZ Curriculum who is an enthusiastic and effective classroom teacher and a positive, co-operative member of the Practical Design department. Must have Hospitality to Level 3 and leadership of part-time Creative Cook programme. Applicants are required to be familiar with the New Zealand Curriculum, NCEA and have a current practising certificate.

You need to be currently registered and qualified as a NZ teacher and be able to build strong relationships with staff and students.
