Assistant principal

Commencing term 1, 2021.

We are seeking an assistant principal who is innovative, committed to lifelong learning and passionate about education. This position would suit, but is not restricted to, an experienced middle manager (either pastoral or department) looking to make the step up to senior leadership. The ideal applicant will have experience managing relationships between students, staff and parents, excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills, an attitude of excellence, promoting high expectations and standards, a growth mindset and a positive disposition. Duties by negotiation but a passion for girls’ education, insight into current pedagogy, an ability to lead others, and superb organisational skills are key components.

We are a single sex school, based in the historic town of Oamaru which serves the Waitaki district. Our beautiful campus provides a positive and engaging environment for young women to flourish in their learning and their life.
