This is a permanent full-time position commencing 28 January 2021.

We seek an innovative NZ registered teacher of science who is familiar with the NZ Curriculum and an enthusiastic and effective classroom teacher. The successful applicant will need to be student-focused and able to work collaboratively as part of a strong and cohesive science department.

The ability to teach any of the following subjects: biology, physics, general science, is desirable, as is a strong commitment to restorative practices and culturally responsive and relational teaching approaches.

Timaru is a thriving, middle-sized city and is the gateway to all of the amazing attractions of the Aoraki region and Te Waipounamu.
