Teacher: salary scale K1 – Northland Kindergarten Association
Northland Kindergarten Association (NKA) is seeking an enthusiastic and capable teacher to join the team. This 0.5 position will commence Monday 30 November.
We are an enviro-schools kindergarten located on the rural outskirts of Whangarei, the Kindergarten also offers a nature programme to the ten oldest tamariki weekly. The dedicated team of teachers adhere to the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
Our kindergarten currently has a team of three teachers and a part-time administrator. The kindergarten operates on a 48-week model catering for 30 children between two and six years of age. This 20-hour position will have varying daily hours.
Our kindergarten is part of a network of 25 kindergartens within the NKA. The Kindergarten is supported by a professional practice and management team. NKA adheres to the employment conditions as offered in the Kindergarten Teacher, Head Teachers and Senior Teachers Collective Agreement 2019-2022.
Applicants must hold a recognised New Zealand ECE qualification (minimum Dip Teaching ECE), current practicing certificate and first aid certificate.
