We are seeking an enthusiastic primary teacher for our well resourced Y1–13 area school. The class is a multilevel Y1–6 group and an ability to teach the te reo part of the programme at this level would be an advantage to an applicant.

Our college is a long-established school in the beautiful East Coast two hours North of Gisborne. We are in the heart of Ngati Porou, Ruatoria, and all our students affiliate to the iwi which provides strong contexts for learning. Our school has a supportive family-like atmosphere with small classes and willing students. School housing is available at a subsidised rate.

Our coast is famous for its relatively easy access to the ocean with many opportunities in the area for recreational activities such as fishing, tramping and hunting.

The successful applicant must be passionate about children, lifting their achievement and enhancing their well-being.

Our teachers receive both the Isolation and High Priority Teacher Supply Allowances. A management unit may be available for a suitable candidate.
