A great opportunity has become available! For the past two years, our team has been working alongside primary schools in Invercargill and Bluff on an initiative called Made to Move.

As a school facilitator, you will work alongside 21 primary schools across Invercargill and Bluff to support them to strengthen tamariki wellbeing through physical activity. You will work alongside another school facilitator and two community connectors to maximise the impact of this initiative.

Our ideal candidate will be a kaiako (teacher) based in Invercargill, who strongly believes in the value of physical activity for children’s wellbeing. They will have exceptional relationship building skills, and the ability to listen and learn as well as influence change.

As this is a fixed-term position (January–December 2021), we are open to exploring different employment options to ensure we attract the best candidate possible (e.g. secondment).

If you are a teacher, based in Invercargill, who understands the value of physical activity for the wellbeing of our tamariki and want to make a difference in the community, please apply.
