We are seeking a full-time experienced guidance counsellor to provide targeted counselling and engage with wider networks to provide wrap around services to benefit our young women.

A commitment to our culture of care and our special character is essential. The successful applicant will work with our deputy principal responsible for pastoral care and be part of our college’s pastoral care team including a part-time guidance counsellor, school nurse, physio, cultural liaison teachers and our deans’ team.

Commencing term 1, January 2021, you would be responsible for counselling students from Y7–13.

The ideal applicant must be a NZ registered and certified teacher and hold NZAC membership (or working towards membership). You will also have the following attributes:

  • Exceptional organisational skills
  • The ability to build relationships quickly
  • Highly collaborative for working in a team
  • Professionalism judgement and confidentiality
  • Sound knowledge of Google suite and Kamar SMS an advantage.
