We require a passionate and enthusiastic teacher to work with learners from Y1–8 maintaining our tuakana/teina environment through collaborative teaching and learning.
The successful applicant will be a flexible and creative practitioner who is well organised and able to work in an innovative and rapidly changing and evolving environment. They will be able to integrate the curriculum into play-based and inquiry learning and will lead students to access resources, developing learner agency. This teacher will be comfortable co-constructing learning with students. They will be open-minded and have a growth mindset, be able to build genuine relationships within the wider school community and honestly explore their own strengths and weaknesses. They will model our school's PURIRI Values in everything they do – Perseverance, Uniqueness, Respect, Initiative, Responsibility, Integrity.
