Senior syndicate teacher

If you are an experienced, innovative and passionate teacher that can work collaboratively in a team, we are looking for you

Our kura is seeking a Y7–8 teacher for our auraki (English medium) whānau.

Our special character school (Ngatiawatanga) has a roll of 300 students and is located on the rural fringe of Whakatane in the sunny BOP.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Full teacher registration
  • An affinity with and knowledge of teaching Māori students
  • Sound knowledge of teaching approaches and the NZ Curriculum
  • S.T.E.A.M and IT capable.

Start date beginning of term 1, 2021.
