We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate certificated teacher/kaiako join our team.

About us:

We are part of Central Kids Early Education, which operates 56 other kindergartens and centres across the central North Island.

Central Kids provide access to high-quality professional development opportunities and ongoing professional support to maintain quality teaching practice.

We are party to the Kindergarten Teachers' Collective Agreement, which provides 6 weeks' annual leave, 9 days' sick leave and ample non-contact/professional time.

The kaupapa of our kindergarten is to follow the lead of children and their interests.

Children are encouraged to solve problems and develop their skills in social and emotional competence while teachers work alongside offering encouragement and support with strategies and role modelling expectations.

Our learning environment is purposefully arranged to allow children greater opportunities for uninterrupted work and play.

Teachers are committed to showing respect for our culture, Te Ao Māori and growing skills in this area for themselves and the learning community. There is a growing respect for environment and the kindergarten is building on previous practice working alongside families and children alike.
