We are seeking an innovative and future-focused leader who is attentive to student well-being, progress, and achievement; an empathetic and collaborative style of working and communicating is expected.
You will have proven experience in positive student behaviour management, with knowledge of PB4L. Proven strengths in curriculum development, student assessment, and pastoral care, along with strong evidence of collaborative engagement with whānau and community is expected. Strengths in collaborative teaching, e-learning, coaching, and mentoring, and data analysis are advantageous.
Key criteria for appointment:
Proven ability to lead the development of an innovative, future focused, school curriculum
Ability to analyse student achievement data and school information to collaboratively plan strategically, and with the principal, establish and implement relevant annual aims and targets, including staff professional learning
Proven successful, knowledgeable, and inspiring leader, with exceptional people management skills
Ability to provide schoolwide leadership with the effective implementation and monitoring of PB4L
A visible, open, and approachable leader, who will develop and nurture relationships across the broad spectrum of our community, embracing diversity and displaying a high degree of cultural competency and responsiveness.
