We are a school for students aged 5–21 who have very high and complex, medical, intellectual and physical needs. Our base school is located in Naenae and we currently have 3 satellite classes within the Naenae / Taita / Woburn and Evans Bay area.
The successful applicants will initially work at our base school located in Naenae or one of our satellite units in the Lower Hutt region however they may be required to work at our other sites in the future.
We are seeking enthusiastic, innovative and passionate teachers with 'can-do' attitudes who are able to deliver high-quality learning programmes within a trans-disciplinary team.
If you enjoy working collaboratively and within a team and contributing fully to school life, we would love to have you working alongside us to provide a vibrant learning environment for our students.
It is desirable that applicants have experience working with students who have very high physical and medical needs however this is not essential.
We provide excellent opportunities for professional development in a supportive and welcoming learning environment.
We do recommend you visit us before applying however this will only be available after the 12 October due to school holidays. To organise a visit please email Anita.
We are looking at interviewing the week starting 26 October.
