Special education ORS teacher 0.3 FTTE permanent position, commencing 2021 (in addition up to 0.2 FTTE fixed-term component available making up a total of 0.5 FTTE position plus one fixed-term MU for 2021).

We seek a special education Ongoing Resource Scheme (ORS) teacher who is passionate and with current experience in ensuring equity and access for all students, to work within our student services team alongside our SENCO and teacher aides.
Key responsibilities will be leading the development, implementation and teaching of collaborative learning plans for our students who have ORS, and to ensure learning, well being, and inclusion for our ORS students as integrated students in all school activities.
The successful applicant will have the qualities to establish ongoing and effective communication and relationship building strengths with students, whānau, outside support agencies and those within the school community – staff and peers. We seek an applicant who can share expertise of working with diverse learners in the field of Inclusive Education, with the ability to provide examples of the provision of quality programme planning and delivery.
