The head of senior school is a newly created position in response to the school’s continued growth and development. The role is responsible for ensuring the curriculum, teaching and assessment practices of the senior school inspiring high levels of engagement, achievement and progress for students in Y11 to 13.
This position will look after the entirety of the senior school, working within the strategic priorities of the college, and lead the academic, pastoral and co-curricular programmes of the senior school, ensuring the achievement and wellbeing of students and teachers are of the highest standards.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a senior leadership position within a secondary school environment and a desire to lead the senior school faculties and areas of responsibilities, while working with a collaborative group of other heads of school. This person is a respected educator with the ability to ensure a high level of educational outcomes for all students, as well as enjoying contributing to a strong cultural and committed St Margaret’s College community. Strong attention to detail and proven experience at juggling multiple priorities with a calm and fair demeanour is essential.
Reporting to the associate principal and executive principal, you will work collaboratively with a staff of dedicated, innovative and proactive individuals.
