Following 30 years of tenure, the college is seeking a dynamic and influential Associate Principal. This exceptional person will join our supportive and collaborative school, celebrating 110 years of outstanding education with a strong community focus and a reputation of academic, sporting and cultural  excellence. The associate principal will be an integral member of the school’s leadership team and will work closely with the executive principal to strategically plan, implement and promote the school’s vision, mission and values in the community. 

The purpose of this role is to progress the strategic priorities of the college and ensure consistency and cohesion across the academic, wellbeing and co-curricular areas of the school. This role has a strong focus on operational and academic leadership across the whole school.

To be suitable for this role, you will need to demonstrate the following work-related requirements:

  • Capacity to provide effective leadership in a range of educational settings
  • Have a demonstrable track record in managing people and developing a culture of reflection, collaboration and innovation
  • Proven high level of interpersonal skills and diplomacy that demonstrate the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships to achieve planned outcomes
  • Capacity to manage staff at all levels plus an understanding of financial management
  • Demonstrated agility and flexibility in senior leadership positions to analyse, plan, implement and evaluate strategy, policies and programmes, to deliver operational and strategic goals.

This position would suit an experienced senior leader in a secondary school environment with previous whole school responsibility and/or an associate principal looking for more leadership exposure.
