This is a great opportunity to join this large dynamic cluster. We are looking for a trained RTLB or NZ fully registered teacher who aspires to be an RTLB as a future career.
This position (1MU + 1SDA) is based in the Horowhenua / Ōtaki and Kāpiti regions to support teachers and students in mainstream English schools, bi-lingual classes, and full immersion kura.
The successful applicant will be able to work across the cluster when needed.
This position starts term 1, 2021. Rā timatanga wahanga tuatahi 2021.
Essential for the position:
RTLB qualifications or the capacity to attain the mandatory post-graduate qualification
Intermediate level te reo Māori me ōna tikanga and the commitment to grow this further
Full driver’s licence and own vehicle
Can confidently navigate IT tools.
Experience in leadership, SENCO, teaching at primary and secondary levels, teaching Māori and Pasifika students are all advantages.
