National Library’s Literacy and Learning Directorate sits within the Information and Knowledge Services branch, the Department’s epicentre of information management, culture and heritage.

Services to Schools are looking for an exceptional person to join our nationwide team of Capability Facilitators supporting reading engagement, literacy and library development in New Zealand schools. This full-time, permanent position will be based in Hamilton supporting schools throughout the Waikato and Bay of Plenty regions.

The role of facilitators is to develop capability in the library and education sectors with an emphasis on our priority areas of reading engagement, school library development, digital literacy and culture and heritage.
