We have a fixed-term vacancy due to anticipated roll growth, to start January 2021.

Te Kura a Rohe o Whaingaroa, is a coeducational school catering for over 570 Y1–13 students. We serve a community that extends from the northern shores of Aotea Harbour in the south, to Waingaro in the north, and from the glorious west coast across to the Karangamahanga Range in the east. We celebrate education in a bicultural environment, sustained by our strong values: Poutama, Whanaungatanga, Manaakitanga and Kaitiakitanga. Localising our curriculum, improving literacy, numeracy and hauora across the school are key schoolwide focus areas.

We seek NZ registered teachers who are confident speakers of te reo Māori and using Te Marautanga o Aotearoa. Applicants need to be forward-thinking, open minded, and genuinely enthusiastic and empathetic to the needs of our tamariki and their whānau.

Please state your strengths.
