NZQA is looking for people to work as examination supervisors during the 2020 NCEA and NZ Scholarship examinations at secondary schools and kura throughout New Zealand. The supervisor role is critical to the smooth running of the examinations.

As examinations take place in numerous locations across the country, we invite applications on a nationwide basis. Successful applicants will be assigned to work at a school or schools within their local area.

We would like to hear from you if you:

  • Are able to follow detailed instructions and processes
  • Have good organisation skills with strong attention to detail
  • Possess a high level of integrity, and
  • Have the ability to work well with young adults.

Having previous experience of supervising examinations would be an advantage, but full training and support will be provided to successful applicants.

For 2020, the examination period runs from 16 November to 9 December and examinations take place on weekdays. Ideally applicants would be available for the full period.

As these positions are based in a school setting and have direct contact with students, successful applicants will be subject to a police vet check.
