We seek a kaiako to join our team teaching in our Y1–8, Level 2 bilingual, Māori medium education facility based at Omaka Marae. Te Pā Wānanga is a satellite class of Renwick School, Blenheim, established in partnership with Omaka Marae. We have a growing roll of 40+ tamariki in a newly built complex, with two more classrooms to be built in 2021.
Teaching alongside our lead kaiako, this is a unique career opportunity for an innovative and visionary kaiako who is competent in Te Reo, knowledgeable in Tikanga Māori, has evidence of recent successful teaching in Māori medium and the experience to be an effective kaiako for our tamariki working with Te Marautanga o Aotearoa National Curriculum.
