Available now a full-time 12 month position that will support EIT's aspirations to incorporate mātauranga Māori across our wide portfolio of programmes.
The successful candidate will play an important role as part of the EIT Māori student success team led by the executive director of Māori.
You will be responsible for the development of new academic processes, constructing programme content and assisting with staff development as it pertains to mātauranga Māori.
Essential requirements include:
A high level of skill and knowledge in te reo Māori me ōna tikanga.
Experience in developing and incorporating mātauranga Māori and kaupapa Māori into tertiary or secondary level academic programmes.
Extensive knowledge and experience of instructional design principles and practices, curriculum design and development.
Knowledge and experience of current learning and teaching practice including the application of technology that supports learning.
In addition, it is important that you possess the necessary effective interpersonal communication skills for working with diverse audiences, including faculty staff, students, technologists, management and other staff.
