RKA is a bit of a legend in terms of ECE providers. We’re a true not-for-profit organisation with a community-based, child-centred approach and quality services located across the Manawatu-Whanganui region and parts of Rangitikei, Tararua and Horowhenua.

We’re seeking a permanent part-time (0.50 FTE), 20 hours per week, teacher to join the team in our gorgeous, new centre. This may be the perfect first role for graduates.

The preferred person will:

• Be a qualfied and registered teacher with current first aid 
• Have proven experience with planning, assessment and self-review
• Develop a robust understanding of the community they service
• Be committed to Te Tiriti o Aotearoa and comprehension of te reo, tikanga and te ao Māori
• Maintain a multicultural lens alongside inclusive practices
• Contribute to a collaborative team culture through excellent communication and listening
• Stay motivated, positive and driven to support this ELC succeed to the highest potential.
