We are looking for enthusiastic, collaborative and committed teachers with innovative curriculum delivery skills. The successful candidates would join our middle or senior school team.
Our emphasis in school development has been around student agency, developing inquiring learners and teacher efficacy within our learning spaces. Our school works within a ‘deep learning’ model highlighting shared expertise as part of the process. The use of digital technologies and self-directed learning practice are also core elements of teaching and learning at Saint Paul’s. As a Catholic School we place high value on actively living our faith.
The appointee will work collaboratively with a dedicated team of teachers, parents and Board of Trustees. At least one position will be based in our intermediate area and year levels for the other position/s will be negotiated.
Strength and experience in at least one of the following areas will be a requirement for each position:
Tikanga Māori with the ability to lead staff professional development and support the development of a culturally responsive community
PE, sport and EOTC – interest and experience in enriching these areas of the curriculum
Science or IT skills with a willingness to support the ongoing development of the digital curriculum.
The successful applicants for the non tagged position will be expected to support and uphold the special character of the school.
For the tagged position: a willingness and ability to participate in religious instruction appropriate to the special character of the school is a condition of appointment' is a requirement of the position.
