Ruahine Kindergarten Association (RKA) knows that early childhood teachers are pretty choice.  RKA is a bit of a gem too in terms of ECE providers.  We’re a true not-for-profit organisation with a community based, child-centred approach and quality services located across the Manawatu-Whanganui region and parts of Rangitikei, Tararua and Horowhenua. Our Palmerston North based Takaro Kindergarten currently has a place for a teacher within an awesome team in a high-energy environment.

You’ll need to be qualified and registered with a current first aid certificate and the following attributes:

• Strong interest in the environment and its role in teaching
• Ability to build solid relationships in a tight knit community and to work with a variety of children and whānau
• Inclusive team player willing to work collaboratively
• Proven Internal Evaluation practices and excellent time management
• Forward thinking and responsive to constant change
• Confidence in your teaching practice
• Willingness to continue to develop professionally
• The ability to bring your sense of fun and humour to work with you.
