We are seeking two experienced, innovative teachers and leaders with a “can-do” attitude to be the assistant principals for our junior/middle (1–4) and middle/senior (5–8) teams. These are new positions for 2021, replacing a single DP.
Applicants should possess a deep understanding of current best practice in relation to teaching and leadership. The junior school position is expected to have a strength in balancing foundational skills with play-based learning, and our senior school position will be expected to guide the development of innovative approaches and creative outcomes for student-centred learning.
You will need excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, be calm, and positive, and have the vision and drive to make things happen.
This is a 0.5 leadership position, with a 0.5 teaching in-class at your level, so relationships are key: with your students, with your co-teacher, collaborating with your fellow AP, and as the glue with the senior leadership and our four syndicates.
