He Waka Eke Noa Kaahui Ako Leadership has the responsibility of serving 11 Primary Schools, 1 Intermdiate, 1 High School, 1 Tertiary Institution, and 18 Early Childhood Education groups in the Hamilton/Waikato area

The leadership focuses on building effective collaboration within He Waka Eke Noa, this critical role will create space for our learning community to develop and strengthen. The responsibility will be to facilitate the community to meet its shared aakonga/student achievement challenge.

Requirements of He Waka Eke Noa Leadership:

  • Facilitate collaborative, professional activities across He Waka Eke Noa
  • Planning, coordinating and facilitating the work of the Community as a whole, which comprises of several teams with different foci.

Before being able to be considered for the position, applicants must meet the following prerequisites:

  • Current employment within the He Waka Eke Noa Community of Learning
  • A current practising certificate
  • Recent experience as a senior leader
  • Has met professional standards relevant to their current position.
