Te Huruhuru Ao o Horomaka has a full-time fixed-term position available. This position arises as a result of changes in enrolment and curriculum, and will involve teaching te reo Māori at junior level (Y7–10), and a pastoral role with year groups (from Y7–11), in a bi-lingual class environment. You will most probably be primary trained, with the ability to teach a range of language and social sciences up to the end of Y10. Applications from beginning teachers welcomed. This position commences at the beginning of the 2021 academic year.

You will be committed to developing culturally responsive pedagogies in flexible learning spaces and be excited by the challenge of bringing our school vision (‘A centre of creative excellence’) to life within the junior college. We are a Google school, and part of the Uru Mānuka cluster using the Manaiakalani programme.
