We are looking for a deputy principal with the right leadership skills to support significant development as we progress towards our rebuild and colocation with our partner school, Marlborough Boys' College.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a strong leadership team and help drive the future-focused transformation of teaching and learning.
The successful candidate will have strengths in leading critical inquiry and supporting relational culture within the school. They will have a key role in supporting the leadership of the hauora and pastoral teams. This is a significant leadership role for a person with an interest and focus on girls' learning and development.
Strengths in culturally responsive and relational pedagogy are essential along with a commitment to the college's focus on restorative practice. Specific roles and responsibilities to be negotiated.
Applicants must be fully conversant with the New Zealand Curriculum and be New Zealand Registered Teachers. MGC is a member of the Piritahi Kahui Ako.
This is a fixed-term, full-time (maternity cover) position with 6MU + 1SMA.
