Our small dedicated and passionate team are seeking a like minded full or provisionally certified early childhood teacher to join our teaching team of four. We are looking for someone who is committed and energetic, and who is genuinely dedicated to children's learning and development, who can work independently and as part of a team. We are a community based not for profit organisation who works in close partnership with our committee members and families. We like to consider ourselves as being an extension of the children's home, the unique individual of each child and their families are of upmost importance to us, we value and respect the dual cultural heritage of Aotearoa New Zealand, te reo Māori and Tikanga are naturally interwoven into our environment. We are a mixed age centre, educating and caring for tamaiki aged 12 months to 5 years of age, where the Māori concept of Tuakana-teina (older-younger relationships) is fostered.

This position is 33.25 hours per week.
