A fantastic opportunity has arisen at our kindergarten for a permanent, full time, qualified, certified teacher to join our passionate team. 

Our kindergarten was established in 1910 as the first kindergarten of the Auckland Kindergarten Association. More than 100 years later, our kindergarten offers children an attractive and inspiring environment. The outdoor area borders beautiful Western Park. Our kindergarten is proud to be a Green Gold Enviroschools kindergarten. 

Our holistic kindergarten experience includes belonging and connection to the community, an extremely high quality learning environment and a focus on social competency and positive dispositions for ongoing learning. Here, children are celebrated as capable and confident learners, where diversity is valued and individual learning needs are supported. 

You will be an ECE-trained teacher with a New Zealand ECE qualification (or NZQA-assessed equivalent), be registered as a teacher in NZ and have a current practising certificate. Your commitment to bicultural practice and competence in using ICT as a teaching tool will be vital to great outcomes for children.
