Our college is looking for an enthusiastic educator to take on the learning support coordinator role. This is an exciting new role that has been created to manage support for students' learning needs.
Start term 4.
The successful applicant will be working with students, teachers, whānau and agencies to support the learning of our students and will work as part of a LSC team across the cluster.
Have demonstrated successful experience in working with and including children and young people with learning support needs in the classroom
Be responsible for data collection and ongoing monitoring of students on the learning support register
Work with other LSCs across the Kāhui Ako and connect with the learning support facilitator and wider agencies
Build relationships and work collaboratively with staff, parents and whānau
Assist with the development and delivery of our learning support programmes to enable students to fully participate in the classroom.
The successful candidate will have confidence and capabilities with technology, and be an active member of our professional development programme including relationship based learning as well as an expectation of involvement in extracurricular activities on offer at the college.
