Our early learning centre is conveniently located in the centre of Onehunga, where public transportation is very easily accessed, making us the perfect centre for families working in Onehunga and surrounding suburbs. Licensed for 110 children, our centre is a place where we strive for high quality education and care for children and community. Children’s learning progresses as they are given the opportunity to explore the environment to inspire their inner creativity. For us the environment is the third teacher.
We are looking for an energetic, passionate leader who can guide the centre team to ensure the highest standards of ECE and care are maintained. You will take direct accountability for centre performance including the financial, educational, compliance, staff management and family/whānau aspects.

As a centre manager you will enjoy:

  • Ongoing training, mentoring and PD opportunities
  • A competitive package including childcare discounts
  • Much, much more!

We understand that this role may bring challenges and can be overwhelming, and so we have a very good network and support from the management team to address and support any matters arising. This can surely make your work more productive. We believe in giving you ongoing support and training to ensure you will be a successful leader, and accurately be able to lead your team.
As our successful leader, you will have:

  • A strong understanding of pedagogical strategies, to be a foundation of our curriculum goals
  • An ability to direct the centre's  day to day operations
  • Sound business acumen
  • Bachelor/ Diploma of Education Teaching Level 7 (ECE) and current Certification.
