ECE teacher, minimum 5 years experience (but not essential).

About you:

Full registration and impeccable track record with employers, will have a respect and passion for nature and an intrinsic desire to deliver excellence within ECE and the wider community.

Additional skill sets might include reo and/or te whatu pokeka knowledge, forestry curriculum, outdoor education, nature in play and culturally responsiveness. Inclusivity and respect is key, with a zest for life.

Having a 'can do' professional and open to learning attitude is desirable; a sense of community spirit, humour and altruism are also attributes that will compliment your application.

We boast ERO 4 'very well placed' - does this fit with your philosophy of excellence in ECE?

We seek a dream candidate to add to our dream team - if you have a love of the great outdoors, excel in early education, work hard, have fun and expect nothing but the best for our tamariki, we want to hear for you.

Our centre is small, situated on a picturesque semi-rural site, next door to Kiwi Valley Farm Park in wonderful West Auckland.

Animals and nature form the backdrop to our curriculum; children visit the farm each week. We also visit local landmarks of interest.

We are developing the back garden area; if you have knowledge of gardening, and/or landscaping, sustainability and tikanga within our environment, this would be a bonus.

If this sounds like you, please drop us a line and let us know what your dream job looks like, we might just be the perfect fit. Whilst we seek experience and knowledge, we also invite new graduates, passionate about outdoor education opportunities and possibilities with respectful practice  values to apply.

Don't delay - demand for employment at our centre is always highly sought after. Do you have something special?

Drop us an email, tell us a bit about yourself, ie would love to hear from you!
