ECE teacher, minimum 5 years experience (but not essential).
Full registration and impeccable track record with employers, will have a respect and passion for nature and an intrinsic desire to deliver excellence within ECE and the wider community.
Additional skill sets might include reo and/or te whatu pokeka knowledge, forestry curriculum, outdoor education, nature in play and culturally responsiveness. Inclusivity and respect is key, with a zest for life.
Having a 'can do' professional and open to learning attitude is desirable; a sense of community spirit, humour and altruism are also attributes that will compliment your application.

Our centre is small, situated on a picturesque semi-rural site, next door to Kiwi Valley Farm Park in wonderful West Auckland.
Animals and nature form the backdrop to our curriculum; children visit the farm each week. We also visit local landmarks of interest.
We are developing the back garden area; if you have knowledge of gardening, and/or landscaping, sustainability and tikanga within our environment, this would be a bonus.
