We have a vacancy for a passionate teacher to join our team part-time 0.725 (29 hours).

About us:

We are part of Central Kids Early Education, who operate 56 other kindergartens and centres across the central North Island.

Central Kids provide access to high-quality professional development opportunities and ongoing professional support to maintain quality teaching practice.

We are party to the kindergarten teachers' collective agreement, which provides 6 weeks' annual leave, 9 days' sick leave and ample non-contact/professional time.

We provide a positive, warm, and inviting environment where children, parents, and whānau are valued and welcomed. Our expansive park-like outdoor area provides ample space for children to explore and be physically active.

We are an Enviroschools kindergarten, with a commitment to sustainability where children develop a love of the natural environment, make sense of their world, and develop ways to take care of Papatūānuku.

We believe that relationships are the key to quality education and we develop positive reciprocal relationships with children, their families, and the community.

Our kindergarten whakataukī encompasses all that we do and believe.
'Mā tō ako, mā te tipu, ka neke whakamua tātou.
As we learn and as we grow, we move forward together'.
