We are looking for qualified kaiako to join the Young Investigators teaching team.
We are a small boutique centre with a whānau focus. Our centre has a home-like feel and caters for up to 30 tamariki aged 2 through to 5 years old. We are a small teaching team of passionate kaiako who love to laugh together, regularly check in on each other and support the best interest of the tamariki and each other.
We are a locally and privately-owned family service offering a friendly working environment in a spacious home-like setting with great teacher:child ratios (1:7). We pride ourselves on high-quality education and care for our tamariki and their whānau.
Our ideal candidate knows how to balance laughter with professionalism, is passionate towards enhancing children's view of the world and understands that engagement and nurturing relationships within our setting are paramount.
It is important that you are respectful in promoting whakamana to our tamariki, are enthusiastic, friendly, approachable and can demonstrate initiative and flexibility, are a great communicator and confident in the documentation process. A driver's licence is not essential but would be helpful as you would be involved in our Nature Explorers Programme which is offsite.
This role is a full-time registered teaching position working with a highly motivated team who achieved a Very Well Placed ERO review recently. We provide a competitive pay rate and ample non-contact time so you feel valued in your role. Whether you are a recent graduate, who would thrive from a supportive environment to begin you teacher registration journey, or a fully registered teacher looking for an exciting new teaching journey, we would love have you onboard!
