We are seeking 2 kaiako to work alongside our hapori covering all components of release in our junior school and Kōmanawa Bilingual Hapori.

These roles will work collaboratively within the teams.

Y1–7 bilingual hapori Kōmanawa

Kei te rapa a Kōmanawa i tētahi kaiako. We are seeking a release teacher in Kōmanawa.

You will:

  • Work closely with a committed team of kaiako to deliver our learning programme 
  • Be a passionate advocate for learners and learning
  • Have an open mindset and be able to work collaboratively at all times 
  • Have a strong knowledge of tikanga Māori and te reo Māori.

Note: Kōmanawa is a Level 2 provision with kaiako speaking between 50–80% te reo throughout the day.

Y1–7 junior school

Working collaboratively across our team to support ākonga in their learning.  

You will be flexible, creative and experienced in facilitating strong literacy and numeracy programmes of learning as well as providing a safe and positive learning environment.
