Centre manager

Our amazing centre manager is embarking on a new chapter, so we are now looking for a passionate, driven, and experienced leader who can continue to drive excellence in education and care at our centre!
 
Licensed for 52 children, we are a thriving, community-oriented centre situated just across from the Melling Railway Station with quick access to SH2. We are also proud to be rated one of the top childcare centres in NZ by the Education Review Office.

With big shoes to fill, our new centre manager will draw on their existing leadership experience to lead and motivate a strong, capable, and passionate team. You will naturally role model excellent leadership qualities and inspire others to do same, while meeting administrative expectations, compliance requirements and striving to achieve financial performance targets.

Our new centre manager will also bring:

• BEd/Dip Tch Level 7 (ECE) and current teacher registration
• Strengths in curriculum, assessment and evaluation
• Proven success working in a management or supervisory position
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• An ability to promote the centre to the local community
• A passion for identifying areas for opportunity and continuous improvement
• The ability to be 'available' and resolve queries/concerns promptly
• Flexibility and being open to new ideas/ways of doing things
• The ability to listen to understand, and have wellbeing at the forefront.
