Our college is a Y7–13 coeducational Catholic integrated college with attached boarding facilities. Our college is set in the heart of rural Southland and is very well-regarded in terms of academic results and sporting and cultural activities and success. We have a very supportive wider school community and we appreciate and value this support. The roll is about 400 students, and our staff is very future-focused with our collective aim being strong student-centred and responsive pedagogy throughout the college. Our college has a strong, restorative-based pastoral system that is valued by parents, staff, and students.

Gore is a close-knit community with quality, affordable housing that provides very good sporting and cultural activities for families. Only 90 minutes away from Te Anau, Queenstown, and other holiday destinations, Gore provides a wonderful lifestyle.

We are looking for a relational and student-centred educator to teach in the technology learning area. The ideal applicant with have strengths in hard materials and experience in digital technology is a bonus but not essential. This position would provide an exciting opportunity for either an experienced teacher or a beginning teacher to work in a very supportive learning area that is well-respected within the college.

A willingness to support and uphold the special character of the college will be a condition of appointment.
