An opportunity to join a Māori bilingual unit, whose vision is to develop children who know who they are and who are able to successfully walk in both Māori and pakeha worlds. Central to their teaching is expanding each child’s kete by building their skills within the context of te reo and tikanga Māori. The bilingual unit consists of 3 classrooms from NE–Y8 and is open to all tamariki no matter their ethnicity or te reo experience. You will be joining a school that values and celebrates diversity and is focused on giving children a wide variety of learning opportunities and the very best opportunity to achieve.

We are looking for a teacher who is a team player, is comfortable working within the context of a bilingual unit. Skills in te reo Māori certainly highly regarded but not vital.
