We are seeking an enthusiastic, caring digital technology teacher (state supporting subjects) in our dynamic semirural Y7–13 college, located in Temuka. If you are a motivated teacher, with innovative ideas and the ability to build strong teaching/learning relationships with students, then we would be very interested in receiving your application.
This position can be either full or part-time (hours to be negotiated). The ability to teach Y7 through to NCEA Level 2 is preferred.
A commitment to inclusive practice and differentiated planning is essential. You will be joining a team of strong practitioners in PB4L, restorative practice and culturally responsive pedagogy.
We are a small collegial secondary school, situated in South Canterbury – this means small classes and weekend access to the beautiful lakes and mountains of the Mackenzie Country. Being just 20 minutes north of Timaru leaves you the choice of rural or urban living.
Applicants must be New Zealand certified and hold (or have proof of application for) Teaching Council registration.
The commencement date is preferably 3 August, however, there may be some flexibility available in order for us to appoint the ‘right’ candidate.
