Early learning certified teacher
An exciting opportunity has arisen to be a part of a stable and fun team in a community based early learning service. We are nestled near the heart of Stokes Valley. We are very fortunate to have a diverse community and welcome an experienced kaiako with extensive knowledge in supporting us to develop our multi cultural teaching and learning environment. Developing and implementing our Te Tiriti curriculum is a current priority, along with a supporting a play based learning curriculum.
We are situated on the grounds of Tui Glen School where we have the opportunity to support tamariki with their transition/pathway to school/kura within the local community.
We are a mixed-age centre, ages from 6 months to 5 years, with all tamariki together for the majority of the day, embracing tuakana/teina pedagogy. Within our learning community we embrace a 'home-like' environment, with close, connected whānau relationships/partnerships are our core priority. As a member of the teaching team there will be many opportunities for involvement in all aspects of the teaching and learning programme, building on your pedagogical knowledge and professional leadership skills, where you will broaden and develop your own teaching style.
