Qualified ECE teacher
A wonderful opportunity has arisen for a qualified early childhood kaiako to join our passionate and thriving community-based, mixed-aged, not-for-profit centre, where it truly is all about the tamariki.
Our centre has:
- A teaching team which is valued and supported by management and the parent committee
- Quality ratios, competitive remuneration (as per the NZEI Collective Agreement) and professional development opportunities
- A strong sense of pride in offering a creative and caring environment that encourages learning.
We are looking for a qualified early childhood kaiako who shares a love for teaching and making a difference to the lives of children through a quality learning environment. You must be well-organised, document journey-focused, learning in assessment, have a strong knowledge and passion for Te Ao Māori practices and be committed to building warm, nurturing relationships with tamariki, their whānau and other kaiako.
Position is Monday to Friday, 37–40 hours per week. You need to be able to work with both age groups (U2s and O2s).
The successful applicant will be supported through ongoing mentoring, scheduled non-contact time, and a range of professional development opportunities.
Are you passionate about children and their journey of learning? Are you ready to join a dedicated and fun team?
If so, apply to work in a childcare centre where you will feel valued, supported and where children and families come first.
