Due to roll growth, we are in the position to appoint an assistant principal. The Board of Trustees is looking for someone to join with the current senior leadership team to continue to implement the school priorities, Whakawhanaungatanga and Te Ara Ako with staff and students. Our staff have undertaken a lot of professional development over the past few years and is applying current PLD to our practice.
The position of assistant principal requires a highly relational leader who connects with staff, parents, our learners and the wider community. There is a strong ethic of care required in this position as wellness of students and staff is a priority. The successful applicant will have a teaching role and will potentially have a role with students learning English as a second language. They should, also, be energetic, enthusiastic and have a good sense of humour.
