Seeking transformational teacher!

Are you a fully registered teacher passionate about offering healing relationships to children and young people?

If yes, apply to Join our Stand Tū Māia Team based at our Children's Village in Gisborne.

As a transformational teacher you will be able to share best practices, build mentoring relationships, observe your peers, keep things fresh, model the usefulness of learning, and demonstrate caring beyond what you teach.  This is a fixed-term full-time role ending 18 December.

Your application will need to demonstrate that your teaching practice can be:

  • Child and family centred
  • Intentional and therapeutic
  • Trauma informed
  • Focused on outcomes
  • Bi-cultural
  • Collaborative
  • Engaging, creative and flexible.
