Our school whānau/community is inviting applications to the position of lead counsellor. Having come through a time of varied challenges over past months what is now being offered is unique. This is a chance to be part of a vibrant, vital and highly regarded practice in an inner-city school with a range of needs amongst students. The desire is to appoint a 1.0 FTTE position, this may be negotiable to find the right fit. We are casting our nets wide to locate our new lead counsellor and encourage you to apply for this exciting and fresh possibility.
The school is looking to appoint a lead counsellor to step into a well-regarded counselling practice with a rich and strong history.
The practice is a robust and exciting place of possibility and we are looking for someone who is motivated to take an innovative lead role and really grow the practice.
New wellbeing initiatives are happening within the school and stepping into this role would guarantee a rich and varied professional experience alongside an active, strong and vibrant Pastoral Care Team.
Relationships are key to the function and progress of the school’s vision.
The role would suit an experienced counsellor with a professional membership (NZAC) and is inspired to take on a centralising and generative role. It offers the opportunity to be innovative and to contribute to the vision and direction of the school. In return, you will find yourself with a newly appointed and exciting counselling team and a hands-on Pastoral Care Team.
You will be supported to help you maintain professional obligations you have for registration, supervision, professional membership and development.
