Rabbit Patch preschool learning spaces are beautiful, intentional, purposeful and inviting.  We have spacious, natural outdoor spaces, an on-site resident artist, (Atelierista), and a very supportive and committed management team.  We are looking for a dynamic, certified (full or provisional) teacher to join our dedicated team supporting children through inquiry and project based learning. We are interested in committed and passionate teachers who view children as capable, confident and powerful learners, and who can guide and support children in their creativity and rich learning processes. We are ideally looking for a teacher who has an arts background (Fine Arts degree) alongside a Bachelor of Teaching ECE, to enhance and support the children in making their learning visible within our centre.

At Rabbit Patch we draw our inspiration from the preschools of Reggio Emilia and all teachers who join our team are supported in this approach to work with children with ongoing training and mentoring. We closely observe, listen and record the children's investigations and enhance the environment to support their enquiries. In addition to our qualified teachers we employ a talented artist who supports children's work and teachers' creativity.

If you are an effective communicator, a collaborative team player, have good time management, want to make a difference in young children's lives and are committed in your career as an early childhood educator, please apply.

Employee benefits include but are not limited to: Competitive salaries depending on qualifications and experience, access to on-going training and professional development, support and mentoring from our existing knowledgeable teachers, comprehensive mentoring programme for provisionally certified teachers, fortnightly staff lunch, (optional) uniform including winter jacket and delicious Nespresso coffee.
