As a lecturer in the Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood Education) you will join a dynamic whānau committed to student success. You will provide exceptional teaching, be research engaged, and be an active contributor to the development and delivery of the programme.
You will bring demonstrable expertise in early childhood education. Ideally, this will include experience in both academia and the early childhood sector. You will possess excellent teaching and learning practices as well as can lead and inform curriculum design and development. You will preferably hold a Masters qualification or above.
We are seeking a lecturer with exceptional communication skills. You will be a team player, able to relate to students, colleagues, and early childhood communities. You will work collaboratively and engage effectively with our diverse student community. A knowledge of Pasifika education would be an advantage.
You will confident with digital learning technologies and academic quality systems. Capability in supporting mātauranga Māori in-line with Our Code, Our Standards and Graduating Teacher Standard is a requirement. You must have teacher certification, a current driver's licence and be research engaged.
