HCK have been growing young learners for over 90 years in Lower Hutt, providing quality and affordable early childhood education. Our teaching teams are passionate about providing rich learning environments where children can explore, develop and have fun.
We are a not-for-profit dedicated to making quality early childhood education accessible to all. We have 19, soon to be 20 kindergartens throughout the Hutt Valley.
About our kindergarten:
The team is passionate about providing learning experiences that focus on the interests and needs of children.
Our outside environment features a large area providing space for children to explore the natural environment. This encourages children to observe the changes that different seasons bring and investigate their working theories. This, at the same time, challenges children physically as they have fun and develop friendships in a safe and nurturing environment.
This is complemented by a spacious and well-resourced indoor play area which reflects the importance we place on families' sense of wellbeing and belonging.
Due to an increase in rolls, and HCK's strategic plan of staffing our kindergartens with 100% qualified and registered teachers, we are looking for an energetic and dedicated teacher to join the team.
This is a part-time teaching position, starting in term 3, 20 July.
